CEO of Nokia-phone maker HMD Global will resign
HMD Global takes ‘immediately’ farewell to CEO Arto Nummela. A reason for his departure is not known.
Arto Nummela and HMD Global have, in consultation, decided to go. That writes HMD Global Wednesday. The departure goes directly in, his successor Florian Seiche, who has been in the top of the Finnish company operated.
The exact reason for the departure is not known. Nummela was the former Nokia head of Microsoft’s department for mobile devices in Asia, the Middle East and Africa. HMD Global in 2016 founded, and brings under the brand name Nokia new smartphones. That are particularly aimed at the value segment.
