Carrie Underwood welcomed her second child, a son named James, last January, and recently revealed she was surprised to find that it took me a while to feel like herself again.

The country music superstar took the time to take care of her baby and is now back on the stage, but he felt the social pressure to “bounce back” like she did with her first-born son, Isaiah, who is four years old.

“After having my first child, I felt as though I bounced back quickly. And man, it was as if my body took a minute to get back to me. It was frustrating, because I’m like, ‘Why wasn’t it like the first time?'” she told People magazine that during the promotion of her activewear line, CALIA.
