“A hundred years after the abolition of slavery, the black community better, you go up, up, up,” Owens said in response. “Then, suddenly, they socialized, our community and the black community went down, down, down,” she continued, argue that Sanders is trying to socialize the nation as a whole, not just fringe groups.
“You know his policy will not work. You know, socialism has led to more deaths than anything in the last 100 years,” she continued.

Dr. West continue the conversation with the repetition of his statement that is probably not a policy of socialism, contrary to the negative connotation of “hand-outs.”
