Canada warns of expansion of forest fires

The fire department on the west coast of Canada warns of spreading of forest fires since the weekend rage. Strong winds and lightning strikes can fire Wednesday, further inflaming and with high speed in the direction of Williams Lake spread, fear the authorities.
The approximately ten thousand residents of the city should prepare to leave their homes. To date, all fourteen thousand people in the province of British Columbia were evacuated due to the fires.
In the predominantly rural region are estimated to be about 220 fires. Around a thousand firefighters have been deployed, they get help from other provinces.
The transmitter CBC reported that many houses have been destroyed. Also, several roads not passable. The police says ten people have held on suspicion of looting of vacant apartments.
