“All of it seems to be that it’s going to be a case of suicide,” Nisleit told reporters at a press conference on Monday. “It seems to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound at this point in time. Our homicide unit’s protocol is to do the research, but all the signs, all the indications are that this was a case of suicide.”
Nisleit said he’s aware of the fact that Ruvido was not at the court at around 1:40 a.m., and shortly thereafter, at about 2:08 a.m., it was confirmed that he did not turn up after the case was called, and he didn’t show it.
The officers made several attempts to get in touch with Ruvido, it didn’t work out. Nisleit said that the police have decided to make a forcible entry into his home, and that’s when the body was recovered.
He added it was not immediately clear when the Ruvido is actually dead.
