An intruder repeatedly stabbed in a Californian guy, while his girlfriend and her 1-year-old child was sleeping next to him, police said.
The intruder has been identified as Alvino Alaniz’s wife, 31-year-old ex-boyfriend, according to the Turlock Police department spokesperson Sgt. Russell Holeman.

Police responded to the home at about 1:50 a.m., the Modesto bee reported. Alaniz had been broken, kicked down the bedroom door and stabbed the victim several times, Holeman said.
The 34-year-old victim was able to fight off the suspect and flee to a neighbor’s house, where he called the police. Responding officers detained Alaniz in the area and recovered the weapon, Holeman said.

The victim was taken to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. By late morning, conditions will improve, Holeman said. His identity has not been released.
His girlfriend and her 1-year-old was not injured, the Turlock Journal reported. A 3-year-old child sleeping in another room and was unharmed, the Bee reported.

Alaniz is to be confronted with the charges of attempted murder, the willful child is a threat, and a break-in. He remains in custody at the Stanislaus County Jail in lieu of a $500,000 bond.
Turlock is located in the Northern part of California, about 100 miles east of San Francisco, california.
