California man, 40, taken into the cold-case murder — a 1-year-after-father-was approved after almost 20 years in prison

A man was arrested in Southern California last week, left out in the cold-case murder of his father, the ex-wife, DNA evidence linked him to the murder, a year after his father was charged in the crime, the Riverside County District Attorney, said in a press release.

Googie Rene Harris, Jr., 40, was charged on one count of murder after his arrest in Palm Desert, just east of Los Angeles, california, on Friday.

Wang was found murdered along a road in the vicinity of Corona, a Lake, and her husband, Horace, Robert, was convicted of her killing in 1999, and was sentenced to 15-years-to-life.
