A group of California lawmakers will have a trip to Hawaii with utility companies in the last year, such as forest fires ravaged in your state.

“We were shocked to learn that, while many of the wildfire fled victim to your life in Paradise, and Malibu in November of this year, utility executives and lobbyists in California’s big utilities, food and drink 12 influential state legislators in a Paradise of Wailea, Maui,” consumer Watchdog President Jamie court said in an open letter to California leaders.

Dan Howle, chair of the Independent voter project, told The New York Times, no lobbying was not allowed on the conference and the participants on specific legislation.
“What would be wrong with elected officials and businesses to discuss issues?” Howle said. “If the public wants to go to the public pay a fee.”
