Four people are dead and several others were injured Thursday night after a shooting broke out at what appeared to be a Halloween party in northern California, police said.
The Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office took to Twitter on Friday morning to confirm the four deaths” and “other injuries” after an all-out shoot-out on in Orinda, a city about 20 miles east of San Francisco, california. They have offered very few details, but said that the investigation was “in progress.”

Gunfire broke out at a house on Lucille Way, and he said just before 11 a.m.
Video from the scene posted by KTVU showed several of the victims being loaded into ambulances, others limped away from the scene. The police and the emergency services were able to talk with people who appeared to be injured.
The police have confirmed at least four deaths with several people injured.

A neighbor told the station that the house seemed to be rented out for a private party.
