Obama aims for a competitive race in Orange County
The former President Obama tries to help democratic house candidate Katie Porter in California; Peter Doocy declares on ‘Special Report.’
Only a few days after the Obama-political machine revved up again for a medium-term rally in the vicinity of your district, Rep. Mimi Walters, R-Calif., said she is not intimidated.
“Obama did not win my district [in 2012] and the people in this district don’t want to go back to the last eight years,” Walters told Fox News.
The voters in the 45. District have never believed elected Democratic representative to the U.S. Congress, but a democratic Challenger Katie Porter, that feelings about the current President can convince to break the voters, with the generations of Republican rule.
“Are you worried failed on the Congress to check and balance on the trump-government and some of the most reckless policies,” Porter said. “I think people are looking for a Congressman, is not afraid, and not just rubber-stamped trump on the agenda.”
Walters argued already done enough to distance the President on the most important issues.
“If the President decides that I don’t agree, I stand by him,” Walters said. “I don’t believe in tariffs, I think it is a tax on the people, and it hurts consumers.”

But the tax plan was supported by almost all Republican lawmakers, sitting at the top of the list, believes Porter, could you drive to a victory in this district with a very high state and local taxes, because of deductions from caps state and local tax.
“The trump-tax-plan is, it falls very heavily on California’s families,” Porter said. “It is why most of California’s Republicans voted no, that the tax-voted bill – Mimi Yes.”
Walters, who called Porter a “Elizabeth Warren, socialist,” believes that the tax-reform bill”, is an asset and not a liability for your campaign.
“Small business owners I speak to tell me that the biggest challenge that you can try right now, find the employees, because they are growing so fast,” Walters said. “We are very good right now, and we don’t want to go back to Obama years.”
