Burglar eats 3 pizzas, ice cream, church break-in

OLD ORCHARD BEACH, Maine – Police say a hungry burglar helped himself to three frozen pizza’s and ice cream at a church for the destruction of the building.

Pastor Michael Gray said in an e-mail from the unknown burglar ate food and broke the door of the church food pantry, along with a vase and a number of other objects. The Journal Tribune reports the suspect got in the Old Orchard Beach United Methodist Church through a door that was left open.

Church officials say that they are more careful with the security in the building.

The church asks the members in a Facebook post to “pray for the person or persons” involved in the crime.

The police to investigate further.
