Two of the passengers were sick from the motion of the turbulence, which caused a chain reaction that leads to five others are sick, fire captain Kevin Stidham told the Mercury News.

The turbulence was so bad, a passenger on the struggle compared to on a boat, rocking up and down, KGO-TV reports.

After the landing, all the passengers next to people who were sick, deplaned. No one was taken to the hospital and the airport operations were not affected, according to Patch.
