Brussels Airport in top 10 of the most expensive European airports to taxi

The most expensive airport is Geneva Airport, where taxireizigers 5,67 euro per kilometer to pay for. In our capital you have to pay 3 to 5 euros per kilometre.

A taxi ride from the airport to the city centre costs in Brussels between 3 and 5 euro per kilometre. Brussels Airport is therefore at the sixth place in the top 10 of the most expensive European airports to take a taxi. This is evident from a study of the Dutch travel website Vliegveldinfo.nl in cooperation with AirMundo.com.

In the Airport Taxi Report Summer 2018, the cab fares of the 50 busiest European airports next to each other. The most expensive airport is Geneva Airport, where taxireizigers 5,67 euro per kilometer to pay for. Also, the second place is, with Zurich Airport (5 euro per km), to play a Swiss airport.

The top five is completed by the airports in Copenhagen, Nice and Düsseldorf. The five cheapest airports in Europe are all in Turkey. Average cost of a taxi ride from airport to city centre in Europe 40 euro, calculated the researchers. Due to the relatively long distances to the heart of the city are the London airports in terms of absolute amounts, the most expensive. There pay travelers soon more than 100 euro.
