A bride-to-be has taken to social media to offer an “advice” on how to make sure every bride gets the exact photos that she wants on her wedding day.

In a post that has since been shared at a wedding shaming Facebook group, the bride declared she would not pay her photographer in a final payment, unless he was able to tick off a list of specific photos of a five-page checklist.

Because they think that it would help other brides in their “planning” of the bride also stated she would follow the same procedure with her videographer, also.

“So I’ve been listening to a lot of people who have already had their weddings and they said one of their biggest mistake was not that the photographer all of the photos that they wanted,” she wrote.

“That he is not his final payment, until all have been taken.”

“These are the same rules apply to the videographer,” she continued.

“I will write down the specific videos that I want included in the full-length or edited etc.

“This is a one-time thing and I want to make sure I have every photo and video footage that I wanted.

“Hope this helps someone that have managed this in their planning process.”

The bride-to-be is also a picture of her checklist with a number of friends and family members that they wanted photos.

“Usually a deposit to pay, and the rest of the cost before they come to your wedding.”

While another said: “let the professionals do their work and not hire people you don’t trust.”

The post was flooded with indignant wedding photographers, with a revealing, “this is the reason why I don’t photograph weddings anymore.”

One explained, “I am a wedding photographer and that is not how it works.

“I would walk away. We take a ‘ desired picture ‘s’ – list, but sometimes a shot is just not going to happen in the way that anyone expected.

“This is the reason why I have a contract that says: ‘I will do my best to make all of the requested photos, but I am not responsible for missed shots” and also that my money is due for the wedding.”

Others understood that the bride wanted some photos on her big day, but explained to the deduction of the photographer’s fee was not the answer.

“I’m making a list for the photographer so they can make sure to take all the photos you want – wedding days are crazy and you don’t always think about things that are still super important,” wrote.
