Brazil fines Facebook to $1.6 million for the inappropriate sharing of user data

BRASILIA (Reuters) – the state Department Of Justice said on Monday it has fined the AMERICAN technology giant Facebook Inc. is 6.6 million reais ($1.64 million) for improperly sharing user data.

In a statement, the department said that it would be nice for the first time on Facebook in Brazil, and related to, the misuse of the data by the Cambridge Analytica in 2018. Facebook, do not immediately respond to request for comment.
