Authorities are searching for an armed bank robber who held in Santa Monica and Wells Fargo.
In LOS ANGELES, A masked suspect armed with a long-barreled gun robbed a bank in Santa Monica, Calif., on Tuesday and fell by as much as $5,000 before the police could catch him.
The incident took place at a Wells Fargo Bank on Montana Avenue at 9: 51 a.m. The street is known for its high-end shops, and is frequented by celebrities.
The suspect — who was last seen jumping a wall at the back of the couch and was dressed in layers of clothing and gloves, according to police.
The robber entered the bank, brandishing the firearm, while wearing a “Day of the Dead” – type mask. He approached an employee, demanded money, and fled. There were no injuries, but nearby schools were placed on a brief lockdown.

The police said that they responded within a few minutes, and then searched extensively in the area. They are convenient for the shops, and the home-owners who may be out of surveillance video to help in the investigation.
