Boxer Wilder defends WBC title with a knockout in the first round

Boxer Deontay Wilder has in the night from Saturday to Sunday in New York kampioensgordel by the WBC, successfully defended. The American defeated his compatriot Dominic Breazeale in the first round knock-out.

The 33-year-old Wilder, who his opponent after a little over two minutes against the canvas beat has the title for bond WBC since 2015 in possession and defended his belt for the ninth time.

The fight between Wilder and the equally old Breazeale came after a tumultuous week, in which Wilder had to know that his opponent, his life is not certain and that he like to kill someone would want to save.

“Tonight, everything came together,” said Wilder after his lightning-fast victory on Breazeale. “There is in the run up to the fight, indeed, said a lot, and that was now reflected. This is what boxing so beautiful.”

Breazeale, who is now twenty victories and two defeats, took the victory too quickly, Wilder was awarded. “I think the referee the fight too early stopped, because I heard him just even to seven-and eight-count. But it is no different, I did my work,” he said.

Wilder won his forties, a total of 41 fights in the heavyweight. Only his match against Tyson Fury in december ended undecided. Boksbond WBC announced after that match that a rematch is coming.
