Bourne director makes film about the team behind the arrest of Al Capone
Paul Greengrass is going to make a movie about Eliot Ness, one of the officials who was responsible for the arrest of gangster Al Capone. The director of The Bourne films has undertaken the project to lead.
Ness talks about opsporingsambtenaar Eliot Ness who is responsible for the detection of illegal drankhandel and by that way come into contact with Al Capone. The gangster tries to Ness and his team to buy in, but failed.
Later, Ness is responsible for the investigation of a serial killer and his victim in pieces, cuts and dumps into a river. The film will be primarily about the latter case.
Brian Helgeland, who previously worked with Greengrass, wrote the screenplay for the film. According to Variety, the story is based on a book by Brian Michael Bendis and Marc Andreyko.
