Bosz speaks of ‘weird-good’ Ajax in the first half against RB Leipzig

Ajax coach Peter Bosz is very pleased with the play of his team in the some players with RB Leipzig. The Amsterdammers won Saturday’s convincing 5-1 of the number two from Germany.

Halfway it was already 3-0 through two hits of Amin Younes and a goal from Kasper Dolberg. Just after rust scored Younes again, and after a tegendoelpunt certain Anwar El Ghazi with a brilliant header in the final standings.

“This result is impressive. Especially about the first half, I’m quite satisfied. That was great, really bizarre well. While the field is not even good it was, sometimes had players forced to correct,” said Bosz against Football International.

The 53-year-old Apeldoorner is happy for vleugelspeler Younes. The German knew this season’s competition yet to score for Ajax, but was at Leipzig on his way with three goals and an assist.

“That’s very good for him, but regardless of his return, I found that he is very strong played. But I can about tell all the players, I learn there is not one specific,” said Bosz.

“We played a very good game, were fixed on the ball, put aggressive pressure and found each other easy. It is that the goals could express.”

In the second half of the season should Bosz with Ajax trailing by five points, leading the Club to see. The coach is confident that his team is ready.

“It was a good training camp, in which we have been able to do. It is nice that this duel have been able to shut down”, he reminisces on the winter stay of Ajax in Portugal.

“This contest is yet another confirmation that we are on the right road, that the trust on the basis of the first half of the season.”

Ajax resumes competition on Sunday 15 January with an away game against PEC Zwolle. Then wait for the team from Amsterdam duels with FC Utrecht, ADO Den Haag (home) and Roda JC (off).
