Boss of Hewlett Packard has no interest in the CEO position at Uber
CEO of Hewlett Packard (HPE) Meg Whitman stressed that she does not want to get to work as the CEO of taxi service Uber. According to rumors, she was considered for the role.
Whitman says on Twitter that they still have a lot to do in HPE and thus nowhere to go. “Meg Whitman is not the CEO of Uber,” according to the topvrouw.

Rumors about Whitman came again over after they announced to leave the board of directors of HP Inc. According to her, the rumors are now “a distraction”, so she felt the need to speak.
According to insiders, there are currently six candidates considered for the top position within Uber. Whitman would be one of these six. In 2010 Whitman all conversations with Uber have had.
Uber CEO Travis Kalanick joined earlier this year under pressure from investors, after the company was central to several scandals. The taxi service was among other things accused of a sexist atmosphere at the headquarters.
