‘Boss Hewlett Packard candidate leading in Uber’
Ceo Meg Whitman of Hewlett-Packard Enterprise (HPE) is one of six candidates for the top position with the company behind the eponymous taxi-app Uber.
This is reported by news agency Bloomberg, on the basis of insiders.
Uber hopes to be in september, appointing a successor for Travis Kalanick, which had previously been under the pressure of investors stood down.
Reportedly, the Republican businesswoman Whitman, in 2010, the battle for the governorship in California that lost already several discussions with Uber. The names of the other five potential candidates are not known.
