President trump will probably be Tuesday evening Oval Office address to tout statistics, a dramatic influx of families, drugs and criminals crossing the US-Mexico border, as he makes the case that the situation requires a humanitarian and national security crisis, an effective physical barrier.

Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen, in conversations with legislators, the administration cited numbers showing 161,000 family crossed the border in fiscal year 2018, an impressive 50 per cent more than the year before. She also told than 60,000 unaccompanied children across the border in the last year, an increase of 25 percent.

“More children and families is captured between the ports of entry than ever before”, the presentation by Nielsen, the legislature, and it. “For the first time in history, family and children, the vast majority of apprehensions.” The information cited Customs and Border Protection arrests and the number of seizures.

The administration has said, there has been a dramatic increase in illegal drugs at the border, including a 38-percent increase in methamphetamine from fiscal year 2017 to 2018-an increase of 22 percent for heroin, and a 73-percent increase in the number of fentanyl.

Nielsen has also cited statistics indicating that there is an influx of dangerous people crossing the border, including criminals, gang members and suspected terrorists.

After the administration of 17,000 adults in the year 2018 with the existing criminal record, arrested at the border, 3,755 known or suspected terrorists have been prevented from travel, or in the United States, and 6,000 gang members, including MS-13, was arrested at the border.

“I think what is important here, there is a real sense of urgency,” Nielsen said in a Monday press conference. “The crisis is getting worse and worse.”

But the numbers of dangerous people, causing friction between the administration and Democrats on Capitol Hill. Last week, when Nielsen tried to brief congressional leaders at the figures, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi reportedly told her, “I reject your facts.”

Democrats have argued that the number of dangerous people cited, which is excessive by the administration. Mississippi REP Bennie Thompson, the democratic Chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, wrote a letter to Nielsen calling the presentation “a further example of the disinformation and lies of the trump management was used to make the case for the president’s border wall boondoggle.”

“It is very unlikely that 4,000 people [said] terrorist watch list were detained, in contrast to 4,000 people from traveling, countries, banned, arrested,” Leon fresco, who served as deputy assistant attorney general of the office of immigration litigation in the Obama administration, McClatchy. “If so, where are you?”

But Chris Cabrera, a Border Patrol agent and Vice President of the National Border Control Council, said Tuesday on “Fox and Friends”, the terrorists infiltrate groups of migrants is a real threat.

To infiltrate “the potential for visitor – terrorist organizations, with groups of migrants is a very real threat to our country is told,” Cabrera. “If you look at the border right now, the easiest way in would be through the Southern border.”

Nielsen on Monday, the administration defended the claims about the terrorists trying to enter the country, although she said she could not find the exact number tell.

“The threat is real” Nielsen Twitter. “The number of terrorist-watch listed came across our Southern border has been years in the course of the last two. The exact number is sensitive, and details about these cases are extremely sensitive.”

She added: “I’m sure all Americans agree that a terrorist is the reach of our borders is too much. These are only terrorist suspects, we know that reaching our limit.”

The administration has also cited a recent story from the Washington Post, a paper with which the President spars frequently, in view of the “crisis” at the border.

“Record numbers of migrants-families flock to the United States, overwhelming border agents and left the holding cells, dangerous, crowded with children, many of whom fall ill,” the paper said.

To discuss the President on Tuesday, the plans, the border situation in an address to the nation from the Oval Office, in a first for his presidency, in the midst of the partial government shutdown.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate to deliver democratic leader Chuck Schumer to the Democratic rebuttal.

s of the Federal government ran out of funding Feb. 22 to the Congress not passed the bill. Trump has called for a build of 5.7 billion US dollars, border, wall, something you have rejected the Democrats, and both sides show no signs of support to the bottom of the standoff to resolve.
