Blind wants after the world cup 2018 tenure as coach of Orange

Danny Blind hopes after the world cup 2018 to be able to as a coach. The contract of the successor of Guus Hiddink runs after that tournament.

“I think it bondscoachschap a great job and I’m open for another two years,” says the 55-year-old coach in The Telegraph.

“This is a very nice job, because you’re in the top, with a lot of quality works, many good games see and your freedoms. That combination is me. I feel with comfortable in this role.”

If Blind longer want to be with Amber, he will be with his team for the world CHAMPIONSHIPS in Russia. “If we were in 2017 will not qualify for the world cup 2018 in Russia, I’m gone.”

His performance will be after the qualifier and the world cup are evaluated. That happens, among others, with technical director Hans van Breukelen.

Blind does not see himself quickly a coach of a top club. “But if I don’t two years as coach, I am also open for an assistantship at a top club. And otherwise for me to stop.”

The former captain of Ajax amsterdam was on 1 July 2015 appointed as the successor of Hiddink, who prematurely departed after a few minor results in the kwalificatiereeks for the european CHAMPIONSHIPS of 2016. Under Blind knew Orange are not to place for that tournament.
