A wild gender-reveal party, which took place just outside of an Iowa town, local residents are shaken, quite literally.
Officials in Waukee, have confirmed that there will be a loud and powerful explosion that is felt in the city on Sunday, it was the result of a gender-reveal stunt, cooked up by a dad, and staged just one day after a separate gender-reveal-party-in Knoxville, Iowa, which resulted in the death of one spectator at a time.

The Waukee Fire department had confirmed that the occupants of almost two miles away, reported feeling the explosion, which was caused by someone firing a gun at a “gender reveal boom-box” that is loaded with a reactive explosive compound.
“The party has in-depth knowledge of several of the adjacent lots of action, but it can be a little bit harder than we expected,” Waukee Fire Chief Clint Robinson, told Fox News.

The city’s fire and police responded to reports of the explosion just after 5:30, and only for the purpose of determining the cause of a “commercial gender reveal kit” A local news outlet KCCI’s identified as the product of a Tannerite product.

The officials also confirmed about the gender reveal was legal, even though the residents were said to have been really due to the incident, however.
“I was in the back trying to figure this out,” said a Waukee resident, who spoke to KCCI. “I looked over at my next-door neighbor’s yard. Everyone behind me looked like they were intact.”
Robinson said that it was the sound of the explosion was heard for quite a distance, which results in a lot of “curious” inhabitants.
“There were no injuries or damage to property,” he added.

The Waukee incident comes just a day after the gender reveal, in Knoxville, Iowa, which resulted in the death of a 56-year-old, Ms. Kreimeyer, who was killed instantly when a piece of metal from the explosive announcement of the device hit her in the head with it.
