MONTGOMERY, Ala. Students from a private school in the capital of Alabama received a surprise visit from actor Michael B. Jordan, who dropped in when he saw them in the exercise of the midday heat.
The Montgomery Advertiser reports that Jordan was in Montgomery on Monday to start the filming of “Just Mercy,” which is based on the memoirs of attorney and criminal justice attorney Bryan Stevenson.
The “Faith” and “Black Panther” star was immediately recognized, when he surprised the 15 students of the Brave Cross Academy.
They asked whether he was, indeed, Michael B. Jordan. Another cried: “You are of ‘Black Panther’!'”
Jordan said in an Instagram post he was driving, when he spotted the students to do jumping jacks. He wrote: “The sight of them inspires me and reminds me why I do what I do!”
