The researchers claim to have identified the anchor of the Pc. Paul’s shipwreck on the island of Malta.
According to Christian tradition, the apostle st. paul was shipwrecked on an island in the Mediterranean sea during an ill-fated first-century journey to the centre of Rome.
“The ship struck a sandbar and ran aground. The bow stuck fast and would not move, and the stern was broken to pieces by the pounding of the surf,” according to the Acts of the Apostles. “Once safely on shore, we found out that the island was called Malta.”

The Bible and Archeology in Search of (BASE) Institute is of the opinion that there is evidence of the wreck, which occurred around 60 A. D.

However, the proof of the anchors of Paul’s shipwreck, has been almost overwhelming.”
Critics, however, have said that there is a lack of evidence, ACCORDING to the theory, and a question mark still lingers over the remains of the actual site. Another anchor is marked with the ancient inscriptions that have been discovered, out of Salina on the north coast of Malta, in November 2005, for example, has also been touted as a may be attached to the Pc. Paul’s shipwreck.
