Beyonce and Jay-Z’s Atlanta concert ends in chaos when drunk fan runs on the stage

A drunk fan was “on the run” after the Carters.

Beyonce and Jay-Z on Saturday night, a concert in Atlanta ended in chaos when a “drunk” man walked on the stage and chased after the music power couple. The duo were wrapping up their “On the Run II” adopted at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium and walk in the direction of the back of the stage when the man jumped on the platform and bolted in the direction of them.

Videos taken by concertgoers showed back up dancers looking confused, until the man began to run. Some people in the audience were heard to shout, “Oh My God! Oh my God!”

The man seemed not to make it so far and was tackled by the dancers.

The “On The Run II” tour-team released a statement saying the “drunk man on the podium.”

“At this point we had a controlled evacuation of the crew on the stage to safely diffuse the situation,” the statement read. “We are pleased to confirm that nobody was injured during the incident, and Mr. & Mrs. Carter are choosing not to press charges against the individual.”

The team thanked tour of the security and the dancers for the way they handled the situation.

Beyonce and Jay-Z’s publicist, Yvette Noel-Schure, also confirmed on Instagram the couple were “fine” and looking forward to the Sunday night performance at the same location.

“Thank you to all the fans for your concern. They are fine and looking forward to the show tomorrow [Sunday],” Noel-Schure said.
