Back, when the police diligently to find the suspect after the 2013 Boston Marathon bombings, a senior communications Advisor and speechwriter with a 2020 presidential candidate Bernie Sanders wrote, “we hope that the Boston Marathon bomber is a white American” — and then confidently double up hours later, in a separate sheet with the title “I still hope the bomber is a white American.”

David Sirota, an investigative journalist and social media attack dog, hit Sanders’ opponent in the last few weeks, was officially campaign brought in Sanders’ – on Tuesday, along with a number of other political veterans.

In his 2013 op-eds, published by slate, Sirota tries to argue that “double standards” in politics and in law enforcement meant that a non-white perpetrator, would lead to an unjustified reaction.

April 15, 2013, bombings that killed three and injured dozens of others that were committed by Dzhokhar Tsarnaev and Tamerlan Tsarnaev. The Kyrgyz-American brothers called extremist of the Islamic faith and said the us military action had motivated them. Dzhokhar was sentenced to death; Tamerlan was killed.

The “specific identity of the Boston Marathon bomber (or bombers) is not some minor detail-it will almost dictate sure, what kind of governmental, political and societal response we see in the coming weeks,” Sirota, who was Sanders’ press Secretary, when he wrote to them in the house of representatives,.

He added: “this means That, regardless of their party affiliation, if you take care of everything that the stop the war, to insist in a reduction of the defense budget to protecting civil liberties, reforming immigration, you should hope the bomber was a white domestic terrorist. Why? Because only in this case the privilege is to prevent work that the Boston attack from potentially undermining progress on the other issues.”

To mobilize after the accusations of the American government, “a full-on war exclusively against the prospect of Islamic terrorism”, despite the existence of other terrorist threats, Sirota continued with a discussion about white privilege.

“I still hope the bomber is a white American.”

“If recent history is any guide, if the bomber ends up being a white anti-government extremist, white privilege will likely mean the attack is, so that only a single case-that has no influence on major policy debates,” Sirota. “In other words, white privilege will work to not only insulate whites from collective blame, but also the isolation of the political discussion, from all the consequences of the attack.”

In the midst of a fierce backlash on social media, Sirota a large extent his arguments repeated in a follow-up piece to argue that a “measured” would be a reaction to the bomb attacks possible unless the attacker knows.

“The reason … to hope the bomber ends up being a white American is because the standard double room can be used to prevent an over-reaction to the heinous attacks in Boston,” wrote Sirota. “In fact, if the bomber ends up being a white American, there is a good chance we will not see a redux of the post-9/11 period in which we initiated (among other things), the wars of the ruthless, passed privacy-trampling listening to bills like the Patriot Act, overspent on the Pentagon and targeted wide parts of the population for surveillance/warrantless.

“By the way, you don’t have to be a person of color or a political liberal to hope the bomber ends up being a white American,” Sirota continued. “You just have to drones among the groups of Americans who don’t listen to things like pre-emptive war, the Patriot Act, warrantless, war, sustainable Pentagon budget and a broken immigration system. By their own rhetoric, some of these groups, many self-described conservatives, after all, is that he pretends to care about civil liberties and say they want to reduce government spending.”

Neither Sirota nor Sanders “campaign responded to Fox News’ request for comment.

Sirota has a history of no-holds-barred rhetoric, and was obviously with his skills on Sanders’ behalf, even before he officially brought on Board the campaign on Tuesday.

An analysis Of the Atlantic found that Sirota scrubbed, apparently, his social media profiles, including more than 20,000 tweets, on Tuesday, after the magazine asked him questions about his aggressive contributions to the rays of Sanders’ Democrat opponent-without hiding that he had a relationship with Sanders ” campaign. Sirota was to work the time, as an “investigative journalist” for his website Capital & Main.

Sirota, according to The Atlantic, made a “auto-Deleter” for the lack of tweets, and said he took care of a sick child and could not respond to inquiries on Tuesday.

Despite the alleged inconvenience, Sirota, “did post a photo on Twitter of himself bowling on Monday evening, wearing a Turkey hat,” The Atlantic noted.
