Bernie Sanders calls for trump to release tax returns while Fox News town hall

During a Fox News-town hall Monday, Sen. Bernie Sanders President Donald Trump urged to release his tax return — on the same day, the Vermont senator released 10 years of his tax information.

The 77-year-old tax documents, Sanders a millionaire, for more than $1 million in 2016 and 2017. His adjusted gross income in the year 2018 from $561,293, and he paid a 26 percent effective tax rate.

“This is a lot of money … it came from a book I wrote. [It is] a pretty good book, you might want to read it,” said Sanders, during the opening hours of the town hall, adding that he wasn’t going to apologize to me, for a best-seller.

Fox News anchor Bret Baier pointed out that Sanders benefited from Trump the tax, while Sanders noted that he voted against it.

“In my view … the rich and big corporations to add to make billions in profits, you should start paying their fair share of taxes,” the 2020 presidential candidate.

Baier, asked Sanders why he holds in his Hand, on his wealth rather than denial of deductions or write a check to the Treasury Department.

“Pff, come on. I paid the taxes that I owe,” replied Sanders laughing.

Sander then demanded that the correspondent to call Trump to release his tax returns.

“Hey, President Trump, my wife and I have just the 10 years. Please do the same. Let the American people know,” he continued, as the audience applauded.
