Ben Shapiro on Democrats’ ‘deeply cynical” and how Trump to have answered play

Ben Shapiro laid out how he believes that President Trump would have achieved a better “political result” after his controversial face-off with top Democrats Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer.

Shapiro said Thursday that House Speaker Pelosi, D-Calif., and other Democrats are trying to create an image that Trump is “impeachable,” without actually impeachment followed in the house.

“Democrats are not interested in prosecution because they can read the polls like everyone else,” he said in his daily podcast.

Shapiro said that it was a “deeply cynical play,” the Democrats are trying to portray Trump as “weird” and “volatile.”

Pelosi said on Wednesday that they “pray” for the President and the country to the Trump cut short a meeting infrastructure, about what he called “phony investigations” by the house Democrats.

Shapiro scoffed at the idea that Pelosi “gets on his knees every night and pray for the President.”

“Yes, I’m sure that is a thing that is real,” he added.

Trump hits back on Thursday, calling Pelosi a “mess” during a press conference in the White house. Pelosi then said that she would work with trump, if he starts more presidential elections,” mocking trump for referring to himself as an “extremely stable genius.”

Shapiro said Trump’s anger at the Democrats is justified, but his poll ratings remain low for a sitting President.

He introduced a new Monmouth University poll, only 37 percent of voters have faith that Trump should be re-elected, while 60 percent prefer a new President.

He argued that Trump was the “best move” for Democrats to call for their party-political rhetoric and “unjustified” accusations and seem to be “above the battle” by you are still working with them on the infrastructure.

“It’s the President holding the infrastructure hostage appears now to finish you investigation that to him personally, that is exactly what the Democrats wanted to do it. I think the President, politically, feet added into a trap,” said Shapiro, that Trump shows “the magnanimity in the face if cruelty” could be a winning strategy.
