Ben Affleck recently commented on his back tattoo.
Ben Affleck has finally responded to the recent criticism of his extensive back tattoo, and it seems that he agrees with the critics.
The Oscar-winner, 45, took to Twitter to break his silence after photographers with an image of his back tattoo, which features a phoenix rising from the ashes. Earlier, after it was discovered, in 2016, he claimed that it was a temporary tattoo for a movie. However, when it was there again in 2018, the cat is out of the bag.
The star responded directly to an article in The New Yorker that was very critical about the ink.
“@NewYorker, I do just fine. Thick skin, reinforced by garish tattoos,” he wrote Thursday, mocking his own decision.

Affleck is not only successful in making the tattoo. When asked by Vanity Fair about her ex on the body work, Jennifer Garner and joked that she hopes that it is not about her in any way.
“I am the axis in this scenario?” she thought. “I take umbrage. I refuse to accept the shaft.”
It is a tough few months for Affleck as his tattoo ‘ s negative reviews come on the heels of even more serious criticism with respect to the “#MeToo” movement. In October, Affleck apologized to actress Hilarie Burton for the groping of her in 2003, after a video showing him acting unlawfully towards her.
In addition, Affleck’s second outing as a Batman in the “Justice League” underperformed at the box office in 2017. It now seems the star is OK with a joke about the recent bad publicity, though.
