Belgian fries are officially recognized as intangible heritage

The Belgian frietkotcultuur is officially recognized as a Belgian intangible heritage. All competent governments have given permission.

Reports that VTM Thursday. The Belgian fries is therefore eligible to be included in the UNESCO world heritage site.

There are already eleven other Belgian products on that list, including the Belgian beer culture and the garnaalvissen horse. A official recognition can products and sectors a lot of money, more than one third.
