Belgian film ‘InSyriated’ wins prize at Berlin film Festival

‘InSyriated’, a film by the Belgian director Philippe Van Leeuw, Friday at the Berlin film Festival, the “Europa Cinemas Label” award. Reports that Wallonie Bruxelles Images.

In ‘InSyriated’ tells of the Lion the story of a family who settled in the civil war in Damascus. The second feature film by Philippe Van Leeuw – after ‘Le jour où Dieu est parti en voyage (2008) – in Berlin, in world premiere gone.

The Europa Cinemas Labels, every year, five different film festivals, awarded to films there out of competition is shown. Next to Berlin, also falls on the film festivals of Cannes, Karlovy vary, Locarno and Venice as a label to win. The prize brings no money, but can still make the film in more European cinemazalen.
