A lot of Belgian beers in the awards at the World Beer Awards 2016, a ranking of the world’s best beers. This is evident from the results that Friday published. Of the eight main prizes, there were four poached by Belgian beers.
So was ‘Rodenbach Caractere Rouge” elected “world’s best flavoured beer”. ‘Affligem Blond” clinched the award for “world’s best pale beer” to go, “Oud Beersel Old Gueuze” the prize for “world’s best sour beer’ and ‘St-Feuillien Grisette Blonde Sans Gluten Bio’ for ‘world’s best speciality beer”.
The jury is composed of international experts that the beers blind tasting. There was also a large arrangement made of the winning beers for each country. Click here to view the full list of winning beers.
