For more than 50 years Jean-Paul Goude his name among the most influential imagery that the fashion and music world has been drawn. Also on the KENZO x H&M campaign, both on billboards and in print will appear, he gave his unique touch. Take a look behind the scenes.
His name might not ring a bell, but his work sounds deafening. Goude is one of the most typical visual artists of the 21st century, responsible for the famous cover of Paper Mag with Kim Kardashian or Grace Jones ” Citroen Cx 2 commercial. Now, Goude his sleeves rolled up to get the latest H&M designer collection in collaboration with Carol Lim and Humberto Leon of Kenzo in the picture.
In the campaign will be seven different celebs and figureheads to see including Iman (model) , Rosario Dawson (actress and activist) , Chance The Rapper (hip hop artist), Ryuichi Sakamoto (composer), Chloe Sevigny (actress) , Subo (rapper) and Xiuhtezcatl Martinez (Activist and head of Earth Guardians). Even the choice of these ‘models’, shows that this H&M campaign can be quite different, will be a continuation of H&M’s manifesto for more on diversity and ecology.
Also in Kenzo they are in the clouds. “We’re pleased to be working together with our idols, and Jean-Paul Goude is a real icon. Images for KENZO x H&M are great. He explains the personality, positivity, and freedom of the collection jam,” says Carol Lim and Humberto Leon, creative directors at Kenzo. “It is a true adventure together with H&M, and Carol and Humberto to work on this campaign.
