Molly, a beagle, who lives with the owners Elle and Sarah Moyle in Victoria, Australia, recently lost her litter of puppies at birth. Days, Moyles said, the mourning of beagle moped.
Then she met Grow.
The Moyles don’t know how it happened, but one day they found their Molly had picked up a friend — a baby possum that had apparently been abandoned by her mother.

Poss, if the Moyles affectionately call her, had jumped on Molly’s back, and she remained close to her new caregiver.
“They are inextricably linked, because,” Elle Moyle tells 9News Melbourne. “I think that possum is thought Mol was her mother, and vice versa.”

Now Molly has a spring in her step as she gambols about the Moyles law Gazette cattle, and Poss is happy to ride along the way — that is, if they aren’t sleeping. Since possums are most active at night, they are the biggest part of the day sleeping in the trees like Molly faith.

And while most may not see possums as pests, the Moyles say that they have no intention of shooing from the misunderstood marsupial.
Says Sara Moyle, “It is definitely uplifted her mood, they both needed each other, I think, so it was a fantastic relationship.”
