At least 26 people Monday night (local time), had been killed in a coach crash in thailand, to report in the local media. Thirteen others were wounded.
The bus plunged about 150 feet deep gorge and landed in a river. There were about fifty passengers in the car. In the accident, no other vehicle is involved.
The bus accident took place near the village of Pagar Alam in South Sumatra in indonesia. The rescue operation is complicated by the fact that the location is so remote, and the cliff is very steep.
Several injured people were taken to the hospital. Some people might still be trapped inside the bus, said a spokesman for the local police department. As possible, there are still people in the river.
In the region, more major accidents are in place. A lot of the vehicles and the road surface was old and in poor condition.
