BBC confirms contract extension Matt LeBlanc as a presenter, Top Gear
The British broadcaster BBC has the contract extension of Matt LeBlanc (49) as co-presenter of the autoprogramma Top Gear confirmed.
The Friends star has for two seasons on.
The 24th season of Top Gear is next year by BBC Two broadcast.
“Thanks Matt its humor, warmth and passion for cars and for the show he was this past season, is enormously popular with the viewers”, says Mark Linsey, managing director of BBC Studios, in a press release.
“It is fantastic that he agrees to return. With Chris and Rory at his side, we have an excellent team.”
Despite the joy at the broadcaster, LeBlanc not be able to ensure that the program this year, a big dip was experiencing. This season, reached Top Gear, the biggest decline in ratings for the past ten years.
In november, the first episode of The Grand Tour, the new program from former Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson.
