Barron Trump’s school joins others in the call for gun reform

POTOMAC, Md. – The private school that Barron Trump is living together with other schools to call for gun control.

St. Andrew’s Episcopal School, and more than 100 schools in Maryland and Washington on Wednesday signed an open letter calling on Barron Trump’s father, the Republican President, Donald Trump, and the Congress of the support of the gun control measures and to reject arming teachers. The White House has proposed the arming of educators.

The schools support of a “robust system of registration and background checks”, with the emphasis on assault weapons. They are also back to stronger mental health.

The letter was published as tens of thousands of students walked out their classrooms on Wednesday to demand action on the gun violence on school and safety. The walkout was caused by the Feb. 14 massacre at marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in parkland, Florida.
