Grainy surveillance video of the robbery and the fatal stabbing of a Barnard College first-year student Tessa Majors at Morningside Park, it turned out a Tuesday, the trial of the alleged murderers.
A surveillance camera is mounted on top of a security booth near the entrance of the park and was rolling when three of the alleged teenage robbers accosted and knifed Majors, 18 Dec. 11, an NYPD detective testified.
“It’s a grainy video,” said the Detective, Wilfredo Acevedo, adding that the clip of “a little book on the bottom of the steps, and create movement in the direction of the child’s best interests.”

After being cut, Majors dragged himself up the stairs, and at Columbia University’s security booth, from where she had collapsed and was found by a security guard with what appeared to be a fatal injuries, the sources said.

It was not immediately clear that the security booth is the one who is in possession of the camera.
