Barbra Streisand cloned her dog Samantha two times
Barbra Streisand cloned her Coton de Tuléar dog Samantha twice. The two clones have been named Miss Violet, and Miss Scarlett.
In an interview with the touch of different topics, of her potential return to Broadway, dealing with sexism and her thoughts about the 2017 Oscars, Barbra Streisand has revealed that her two puppies are actually clones of a dog that they used to have.
Speaking with Variety, Streisand said that the two Coton de Tulear dogs, named Miss Violet, and Miss Scarlett, are actually clones of a dog that died last year, Samantha.
“They have different personalities,” Streisand told Variety. “I’m waiting for them to get older so I can see if they have her [Samantha’s] brown eyes, and severity.”

Before She passed, Babs had cells taken from the dog, the mouth and the stomach for replicating application.
Streisand, 75, also has a third dog, Miss Fanny, who is a distant cousin of Samantha, giving it a big and happy family.
It is unknown how many of the “Funny Girl”star paid for the clones, but it is probably not to laugh.
According to Viagen Pets, the cloning of a dog costs $ 50,000.
