B. B. King drummer Tony Coleman performs in Amsterdam
Drummer and vocalist Tony Coleman enters Sunday 5 november at the Q-Factory in Amsterdam. Coleman performs with the quintet of the Italian pianist Henry Carpaneto, as announced the music hall Monday.
Coleman was from the mid-eighties, behind the drum kit at The King of the Blues B. B. King. In addition, he traveled the world with bluesgrootheden as Otis Clay, Albert King, Albert Collins, Etta James and Buddy Guy.
In addition to his busy tourleven brought Tony three solo projects with artists like Lucky Peterson, Kennie Neal and the blaassectie of Earth, Wind & Fire. After a long period of writing for other bluesartiesten he came early again this year with a new album with the title Take Me As I Am. For this reason Coleman this fall to Amsterdam for a Chicago Blues night, with the Italian Henry Carpaneto quintet.
