Avril Lavigne brings her long-awaited sixth album Head Above Water on 15 February. It is her first album since five years.
Lavigne shared on Instagram the cover, the title and tracklist of her new album.
The singer, who a few years could not work due to the illness of Lyme, let us know very happy with her new plate. “I’m on this album is much more open than on my previous albums. Every song tells an own story and I hope that they will inspire.”
Her second single, Tell Me It’s Over, that Wednesday was released, according to Lavigne about are strong enough to put an end to a relationship that you know that that is not good for you. “If someone is not treated the way you deserve, it is time to back to go”, says the singer.
Yet understands Lavigne that from such a relationship is very difficult. “The text is very fragile. While writing this I thought back to the bad relationships behind me,” says the singer, who successively was married to Sum 41 singer Deryck Whibley and Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger.
Lavigne broke up in 2002 with the album Let Go and sold since then, more than forty million albums worldwide.
