A passenger whose conduct is the basis for the derivation of a Fiji Airways flight from Los Angeles to Honolulu has pleaded guilty to interfering with flight attendants and crew members.

Nathan Young pleaded guilty in federal court Tuesday, saying he took a number of substances before you board the scheduled direct flight from the previous month to the Nadi International Airport in Fiji, the Honolulu Star-Advertiser reported .

The 24-year-old Australian man swore at people on the plane, threatened to kill passengers, even on the plane of the walls, with a surcharge of a flight attendant assigned to sit next to him, and struck another passenger on his body and face, Assistant district Attorney of the V. S. Margaret Nammar said.

Young told Judge Leslie Kobayashi that the substances that he took mixed his memory, but he accepts the responsibility for his actions.

The court then recited the events of the flight 811, a repeat of the language he used, and asked Young if he agreed with the bill.

Young said he did not remember, but that does not dispute the record.

Kobayashi told him, “If you do not agree with it, to the court.” Young agreed, and in his plea.

Officers of justice were not to charge Young with the attack on the passenger in exchange for his guilty plea to interfering with the crew.

District Judge Leslie Kobayashi scheduled his sentencing for October, but noted it can occur earlier if its concerns regarding the refund is resolved.

After the completion of the sentence, the Young either leave the country voluntarily or be deported, the judge said.
