Attack Leipzig with a kitchen knife seems to be drug-related
The stabbing Tuesday night in Leipzig, where a 56-year-old woman was injured, probably has something to do with drugs.
The man and the woman knew each other fleetingly from the drug world. The messentrekker, a 28-year-old Libiër, was under the influence of amphetamine.
German media reported initially that the attack out of nowhere came a park opposite the central station of Leipzig. The police reported later that the woman is the man most likely had provocation when they pass the bench, walked to where he sat. The woman, who is under the influence of alcohol was injured in her shoulder and arms.
The man was in the vicinity of the incident Tuesday night held. He is, according to German media known to the police as a drug dealer.
