Atlanta’s homeless are flocking to the airport atrium overnight

Homeless people in Atlanta are starting to take refuge from the season when temperatures fall. in the nation and is the busiest airport.

The world’s busiest airport has increasingly become a haven for Atlanta’s homeless, especially in cold weather.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that the terminal for domestic flights is sometimes filled with homeless people, at night and in the early morning.

There have regularly been some of the homeless people in Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, a public terminal, open 24 hours a day.

But the newspaper reports that after the closure of a large shelter in the center and a long-lasting wave of cold temperatures, large numbers of homeless people are using the airport to escape the cold.

The Journal-Constitution reports that in the past few months, many homeless people are taking the train to the Atlanta airport, the establishment of the chairs in the domestic terminal atrium, or stretching out on the floor.
