As a Georgia lawyer, was indicted last week on a murder charge after allegedly driving his Mercedes into a man who was hit by the solicitor of the car with a golf ball.
Bryan Schmitt, a 48-year-old lawyer from Atlanta, “purposely sent” 2011, Mercedes CLS550 for in the direction of Hamid Jahangard, 60, on July 30, prosecutors said.

Schmitt also told investigators that he was passing Jahangard of the driveway when he spotted the 60-year-old leaning over a trash can, then make a throwing motion, and throw something like a rock or a golf ball in his Mercedes, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.
The authorities were reportedly unable to find any damage to Schmitt’s vehicle, but the golf ball is on the scene.
Hamid Jahangard, 60, died from blunt force trauma injuries to the head earlier this month after he was hit by More Scmitt, Mercedes, prosecutors said.
