The top Democrat on the House Oversight Committee warned, ominously Sunday that “the Russians are tired” and “attack on our electoral system on a daily basis, if not hourly.”
The stark comments from Rep. Elijah Cummings, D-Md., signals that the Democrats are not concerned about the possibility of “Russia fatigue” — the idea that after years of non-stop and largely reporting on the alleged collusion of the President, the Trump staff will be discredited with foreign nationals, Americans want to focus on other issues.
“You know, I hear a lot of people say that it confirms tired of hearing about the Miller’s report” Cummings in an interview with “Face the Nation” on CBS News. “Well, we don’t have time to be tired, because the Russians are tired. You attack our electoral system on a daily basis, if not hourly.”
It was unclear exactly what Cummings refers. But in the course of the Special Counsel, Robert Mueller’s report on the Russian elections, disorders, the not “relieve the evacuation of the Trump team for a criminal consultation with the Russian hacking and social media disinformation campaigns, but,” the President on disability, Cummings was more cautious on the possibility of impeachment of the President.

“I’m not there yet, but I can see that possibly coming,” Cummings said, when asked whether he would join other prominent Democrats, including New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren, the procedures in the call for impeachment. “I think we need to make sure that Congress has all the information.”
He added: “And, you know, the story I think, even if we don’t win, maybe [in the Senate and a safe trump to remove], if there is no indictment, I think the story would smile on us, for standing up for the Constitution.”
Other Democrats, including Ohio Rep. Tim Ryan, Maryland House majority Leader Steny Hoyer and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, said that impeachment proceedings would be premature.
In the meantime, Cummings preview new lines of investigation against Trump and said that it might be necessary to hear testimony from former White House Counsel Don McGahn and Müller.
A section of the Mueller report set out how Trump to inform allegedly said McGahn, the act attorney-General, that Mueller should be ignored to be removed in June 2017 — a claim that McGahn. Trump has strongly recommended that the requirement was ‘bulls—.,’ and on “Fox News Sunday,” Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani suggested that it was a misunderstanding.
“Oh my God, I think we need to said the finances of this President,” Cummings. “And we also need to know something else. We need to know, from Mr. Miller, exactly what his intentions were. He intends for us, as a Congress, look at this and take some kind of action or he has the feeling, as if there really is no collusion or conspiracy?”
Speaking separately to the “face the Nation,” Utah Republican Sen. Mike Lee, a less-than-flattering take on the Mueller report, the assessment of the obstruction Problem.
“It’s kind of weird to be there two years, [disability] and then speak with the type of clay, the Pinocchio in the Film ‘Shrek 3′,” says Lee, in an obvious reference to the 2007 movie ” Shrek the third.’ “It’s full of double negatives. It is kind of confusing.”
Lee added: “There was no collusion. It is not there. Not a scintilla of evidence supports. So it is time to go.”
