At least twelve people injured in collapse of bridge, Sweden
At least twelve people were Thursday injured when a bridge under construction collapsed in Sweden. Construction workers came to the incident in the place Ludvika stuck under the rubble, said emergency services.
Local authorities reported that four of the victims seriously injured.
On photos you can see that the bridge is complete and in is deposited. The debris ended up on an underlying railroad. According to the local authorities is probably no one more fixed. “The rescue workers and the police are on the spot,” said a politiewoordvoerder.
Construction company Skanska, that the work was performed, reacted shocked to the accident. “We take this very seriously,” said a spokesman at news agency TT. “Our focus now turns to the persons that were injured by the accident. There are already people on the way to provide support and to launch an investigation.”
