At least 25 dead after suicide attack in mosque in Pakistan
In a suicide attack on a mosque in Pakistan on Friday at least 25 deaths. At least thirty people were injured.
The attack took place during Friday prayers in a mosque in a tribal areas on the border with Afghanistan.
“The suicide bomber was in a highly-frequented mosque and shouted Allahu Akbar, and when there was a big explosion,” said a local official told Reuters.
The attack was in the village of Payee Khanin in the border region with Afghanistan. In this region, where the central government has little control, strains are largely the service. The area is seen as a hotbed of extremism.
